Addison Corporate Marketing SE1

Feb '08 - May '09

Addison is one of Europe’s leading corporate communications consultancies, and the biggest provider of corporate reporting services in Europe. Financial reporting is an evolving medium which is increasingly focusing on the web for delivery, both to save on paper and to reach wider audience, some of whom may have accessibilty issues.

OTG's role was to evaluate the requirements and then design and build an end-to-end Java solution (XML2Web) that would allow XML data exported from the Adobe Desktop and Quark publishing suites to automatically be incorporated into a website, whilst allowing the designers absolute freedom and control over the look and operation of the site.

The project was extremely successful; Addison doubled the number of sites built last year, whilst using substantially less man-hours and hitting every deadline. We also incorporated some industry firsts that will encourage their clients to return year on year. OTG now has a support contract with Addison with the liklehood of futher development to keep Addison on the forefront of its field, and we were delighted in the result of the XML2Web project.
